Hum Vibrator - Hedonish.com - 1 Year Blogiversary Giveaway!

That’s right everyone, Hedonish is now a whole-year-old (err… technically, it was a year in July, but I’m incapable of being on time!) Obviously, the only way I could think to properly celebrate my 1st Blogiversary was to give away an amazing sex toy to my readers! I’m so excited to be hosting my very first giveaway! Woohoo!

Hum Vibrator - Hedonish.com - 1 Year Blogiversary Giveaway!

The Prize? Meet Hum:

Okay—this is a seriously cool vibrator… because it actually responds to you. Hum has a 3D-printed internal structure, custom circuitry and pressure sensors (who doesn’t love high-tech toys) with a waterproof medical grade silicone exterior.

I need to try Hum out more before I can write a full review (I only received mine a few days ago) but I can tell you that Hum is really as cool as it sounds. The pressure sensors actually sense your motion and mimic you, creating custom vibrations patterns. So if you squeeze the vibrator in a pattern, when you stop it will continue that pattern for a bit. You can also change the vibrations with the plus and minus buttons.

Hum also has dual motors, one in the center and one at the top so you can use it internally or just focus the vibrations from the top motor on your clit. Hum has impressively strong and rumbly vibrations— and this is coming from someone who’s go-to toy has been the Magic Wand for years because most vibrations aren’t strong enough for me. The icing on the cake: it charges wirelessly using a Qi charging pad and a microUSB cable (both are included with a wall adapter).

  1. Why isn’t it safe for anal play, isn’t is silicone and all?

    • Great question. While silicone toys can be a great choice for anal toys, it’s not what makes a toy safe for anal play.

To be safe, anal toys need a flared base to eliminate the possibility of the toy going all the way into your body… and being extremely difficult to retrieve. It’s not safe to ever use a toy without a sufficient base or end piece that would stop it from going in all the way.

      • *** To clarify (it won’t let me edit my comment), this is only necessary for anal toys, and isn’t needed for vaginal toys.

  2. I love the colors. The blue glow is great. I like to match all my gear in black blue and silver and not many companies make those colors.

    • HUM has a fair amount that goes into creating the vibration patterns. HUM is basically a computer in a vibrator, running thousand lines of code (written in C++). You sort of have to play with it to get the idea of what it can do.
The main idea is that HUM responds (it has pressure and motion sensors), so as you move, it sort of “syncs up” with what you are doing. It can pick up on a pattern, and start repeating that, for instance, or build up intensity, with more activity.
Anyway, though, that’s sort of the technical “background.” From a user’s standpoint, it’s very simple (on/off, and you can turn it up and down), and the vibrator, well, as we sometimes say, the vibrator hums you back … HUM is a new kind of vibrator …)

      • Thank you for the the great answer! I hadn’t gotten the chance to respond yet. FC Cheng… does that answer your question?
